Mini foodie update #1

Hey there,

This is just a quick little post, I'm going to start giving myself a little challenge. As I have started to walk around my little town more, I have ventured back into Aldi, the food shop. 

Whilst in there last week I noticed they have a deal on some of their fruit and veg. I think they name it super 5.... Do not quote me on this!! 

So my little challenge each week is to buy all of the ingredients and make a meal out of them. This week all I really got was some butternut squash.. Which I have never made anything with before and carrots. 

So as a little challenge this week I think I try out some soup with them. For a bag of carrots and a butternut squash it cost me 98p. So I'm hoping with what I have in the cupboard and fridge I can make some lovely soup. 

If this works out tonight, I will post a sort of recipe and pics.

Inspiring people!

Hey Gals,

Im going to let you all in too a few of my favourite blogs and instagram. These are the ones I do go to for inspiration. 

One of my main ones that I read or browse regularly are Gemma Tomlinson also known as gemsmaquillage on twitter and YouTube.Her blog is gemsmaquillage. Everyone should go check her out. Her instagram is Healthyhappygemma and gemsmaquillage.

Another girl I absolutely love is a fellow Scot, Kate. of Ghostparties. She is also has a youtube channel that is full of beauty related stuff. Her blog is gh0stparties She also has a online magazine called nouvelledaily she also has instagram under ghostparties. She also is a fellow cat lover and has the most adorable cat named mouse.

I hope this gives you and insight into what I like to read for diet and health tips.

Healthy Cooking #1 Brownies

Hey there girlies, 

This is just a quick blog on how to make easy, healthy chocolate brownies. Yep you seen that correctly... Healthy Chocolate Brownies!! 
The ones I've made are peanut butter brownies. 

The Recipe

170g Greek Yogurt
1/4 cup Almond Milk
1 large egg
1 tsp Baking Powder
1/2 cup powdered sweetener
1/2 cocoa powder
1/2 oats
1/2 cup of peanut butter
Handful of dark chocolate chips


  1. Preheat oven 180 degrees
  2. Put all ingredients in a blender and blend until all ingredients are combined.
  3. Pour the mixture into a lined baking tin 
  4. In a bowl melt the peanut butter, in the microwave. Using a spoon drizzle on top of the brownie mixture. 
  5. Sprinkle dark chocolate chips over the top.
  6. Bake in the oven for around 18-22 minutes. 
  7. Cut up and enjoy.



You can make all sorts of variations of this recipe. Add dried fruits, nuts or take out the peanut butter and have lovely chocolate brownies.  Hope you try this recipe.

January Week 2

Hey girlies, 

The first week of 2014, has passed already and I haven't done that regarding weight loss. 
I have made some changes to my diet and I will continue this further into this week. 

I have my nephew this week which will hopefully be a good thing, as I'm determined to help him learn how to ride a 2 wheeler bike this afternoon, once he gets out of school. 

I have also just received my copy of Vicky's 7 Day Slim that I bought from Amazon. I'm looking forward to it, as it boast some great things. It also comes with some diet tips. I'm also the same clothes size as Vicky was when she started working out, so I can only hope. Vicky Pattison rose to fame on the MTV show Geordie Shore and is a very beautiful curvy girl, which I would totally say I was a curvier girl.

I'm going to do this weeks workout for 7 days and follow her diet plan as much as I can. 

I will post some foodie posts later in the week.

New Year.. New Me 2014

Hey Girls, 

This is going to be a little add on blog to my usual beauty related blog. But it's going to be more my lifestyle section of blogging. 

In my head, its mainly going to be used for my diet and exercise. So I become more motivated and I can see the changes and hopefully be more motivated.

I can hope.

But 2014, is the year. I'm going to lose weight and feel more content in my own skin. Not too much to aspire too.  

I'm not going to do the whole scales and weighing myself weekly. 

New Year does mean a fresh new year to change and explore new things, maybe some new methods and hopefully I will finish this year more happy within myself and be in a better place. 

Hopefully I will be able to keep it up and share some fun times with you all. 

So, I shall be posting more frequently. Maybe some tips and tricks when I have at least 5 or so.
